Microsoft Monthview Control 6.0 Missing
Date Picker for Excel inserts a pop-up calendar into Microsoft Excel. It works like a drop-down calendar, offering a handy date selector. As long as the date picker app is running, it activates the pop-up calendar in all the Excel files you open. It does not require you to insert an additional control into any particular Excel sheet. MonthView control missing in Office 2016 I have some excel files built in 2013 that relay heavily on the MonthView control (the date picker). I've noticed it's missing in 2016, rendering my file useless. I need to use the MonthView control on a machine that. And I have used the Microsoft MonthView Control 6.0 (SP6). But I do suggest before you download. My company is starting to push out Windows 10 and Office 2016 64 bit to out machines and running into this issue. Hey guys - I am trying to add a calendar to my excel template but I am missing the MonthView Control from the list of available controls. I am using Excel 2013, with Visual Basic for Applications 7.1 and Windows 7 64 bit. Re: VBA Project-Toolbox-Addtional Controls-Missing the Microsoft MonthView Control 6 option @Jan Karel Pieterse I as able to check my system via Control Panel-System and Security-System. Under the System section it reads: System type: 32-bit Operating System.
After that I use regsvr32 to run both of them with administor seperately. Then I download MSCOMCT.cab, extract, copy and paste to both c:\windows\sysWOW64\mscomct2.ocx and c:\windows\system32\mscomct2.ocx. It deletes the parasynthesis and leaves the word Date. Yes, I tried the Date() expression but it will not hold the text upon changing lines in the Visual Basic Editor. I copied both the control and the drivers into 2010 and have it functioning in my forms. I was trying to use Microsoft monthview control and it is not shown on the additional controls. The control is Microsoft MonthView Control 6.0. Now click Uninstall & Deregister The File Above and repeat the procedure above. I have a 64bit laptop installed 64 excel 2013. Hope the above information can be helpful. If you see Microsoft MonthView Control 6.0 (SP4) in the list, it has been registered successfully and is now available to use on userforms and/or spreadsheets.
